Ah, warranties...

09.16.2006

My friend Vincent recently went to get his alternator fixed. This was in his warranty:

You know, if my country was involved in a Nuclear war I think I'd have better problems to worry about than insurance coverage. I guess the company just wanted to cover all its bases :)

Portfolio!

09.15.2006

My Portfolio is now online for everyone to see! You can find it on the Projects page.

Ninja Havoc Machines returns!

09.12.2006

Ninja Havoc Machines returns in glory! It's probalby the most popular board game we've ever designed (thanks partly in fact that it's based off an already awesome game, Robo Battle Pigs). You can find it on the Projects page.)

New Videogame, "The Alchemist's Apprentice"

09.09.2006

I've made a new videogame, for the Jay is Games Game Design Competition #1. It's called The Alchemist's Apprentice, and you can play it here

Dicseanary, Complete and Unabridged!

07.26.2006

A newly updatinated Dicseanary is in place in the Subculture section.
This project aggregates all of Fadupinator's little additions to the English language. It's a silly project, but the result is actually new, (narrowly) useful words to describe old, ambiguous concepts. Check it out and try to add as many as you can to your vocabulary this week. If the world is in fact made of chocolate ponies, we will get at least one of these into the Oxford English Dictionary by the time they update next.

Expect another update from us before the next edition of the Oxford English Dictionary!

New Article: "On Beauty..."

08.07.2006

I added a new article to my section of the Subculture page. It's entitled, "On Beauty and being a Mutant Freak, which is part of an ongoing series of articles of what it's like to live with my Neurological condition, Tourette's Syndrome.

Linky Links

08.04.2006

I have done actual work! Most of it is in the form of other websites, which you can now see in the Subculture section! I intend to post some other really cool things that I've done... and will do... I DO have some high ideas for website design...

Article One, Section Sean

07.25.2006

Check the Subculture section for a new article by yours truly, on the misconception in the videogame industry that new technology makes old art obsolete.
Look for more articles to follow!

The System was Down!

07.18.2006

Sorry about the downtime. Dreamhost had some server glitches when four things went wrong at once. And here I had thought we'd been Slashdotted or something!

The Gospel according to Donald Duck

07.15.2006

I've posted an article about Donald Duck in the Subculture section, which is quite possibly the most important of all titles in the history of modern European comics. You can find it here.

Hieronymus Bosch, yo

07.15.2006

The Magnificent Adventures of Hieronymus Bosch, esq. (Acronym: MAHBE) is now formally launched and up and running.

Now, we're going to be constantly updating the site, but the look we want for it has stabilized. Once the story has gone underway enough, I'll post a Cast page as well as some other stuff. We'll be putting a banner ad at the bottom for it. InkaLill, our current advertiser, has got a space on the MAHBE page, too, as well as her current tower ad on the side there.

A fully laden Butter-Goose-Table

07.14.2006

That's what "Smørgåsbord" means in Norwegian. (Smør = butter. Gås = goose. Bord = table).
We've got the new Subculture page up and running, and you'll notice that we've also officially launced The Magnificent Adventures of Hieronymus Bosch, esquire!, our new Webcomic!

And while we're talking about Norwegian.... I have a new article up! (about translating comic books)

And in case you haven't heard it yet, Meganite and Branewalker are Awesome People

Update: It's been pointed out to us that this front page has some issues with Internet Explorer. We'll be fixing that as soon as we can. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and install a better web browser.

New Projects Page!

07.05.2006

I've now prettied up the projects page so it looks 100% less like butt.

In other news, we recently received a favorable response to our query from a certain publisher regarding one of our board games, so we'll let you know if anything happens with that. I'm sending in the prototype tomorrow. We don't post much about our board games on this web page because we'd like to sell them, and so it's best to keep them off the internet until a publishing deal has gone through. If this one game gets published I'll put it up on the projects page as soon as we hear word.

Speaking of which, we'll be meeting up with some other publishers at Gen Con, so if you're going to be there, too, drop us a line!.

4th Party Studios Migrated!

06.29.2006

We've migrated almost everything from our old 4thpartystudios.com page now... man was that thing old.

At any rate, I've updated the Projects page, as well as my own biography in the Subculture section. A big update! Shouts out to Megan for making this all possible!

More Content!

06.26.2006

Well, we have a bit more content up now. Sean (Branewalker) has got some content up at least. And check our our Subculture page! It's looking lively. Oh I guess I'll have to write some stuff about me too 0_o.....

Howdy!

06/23/2006

This is Megan Bednarz, the designer of this site. A few of you may have had a chance to *try* to look around, but I am afraid not much is up except the front page and the forums. Feel free to go there! In the meantime, I shall be working with my compadres Sean and Lars on some more content for this site! Stay tuned for more Awesome!
